Muffy Davis began skiing at the age of 5. By the late 1980’s she was one of the top ranked US Junior Ski Racers, Until one morning while training in Sun Valley, ID. an accident changed the course of her life. Muffy was 16 years old and paralyzed from the chest down.
That accident changed the course of her life but it never altered her sense of determination to live life the very best she can and to be what she was meant to be a “competitor”. After graduating from Stanford in 1995, Muffy set her sights on Paralympic competition. She has never looked back.
Muffy is also a Paralympic Handcycle Competitor, most recently medaling in the London Paralympic Games.
