EQUIPMENT INSPECTIONAll equipment should be thoroughly inspected on a routine basis. Chapters may provide their own checklist of criteria that will change depending on the equipment, age, amount of use, etc. These inspections should be documented and any recommended repairs/maintenance should be completed before the equipment is used again.
Staff and volunteers should be trained on how to properly inspect equipment, and should do a check each time the equipment is to be utilized.
