2015 Summit L.E.A.D Training

Thank you for your interest in Lead, the new pre-summit leadership training Opportunity. The Leaders Education Adaptive Development (L.E.A.D) training is for those who provide services for people with disabilities and anyone who is a stakeholder in the adaptive sports and recreation industry. This Train the Trainer conference is brought to you in partnership by the National Ability Center, No Barriers USA, and Adapt to Achieve a program of Disabled Sports USA.
E.A.D training will take place July 8-9, 2015 and will be a precursor to the No Barriers Summit on July 9-12th. There are two tracks to the training:Program Track: This track is for adaptive sports providers. The program track focuses on climbing and includes discussion on best practices as well as program needs. Part of the training experience will take place at the Petzl climbing center in Salt Lake City.

Executive Track: This track is for executive and administrative staff to broaden their reach in the adaptive community, facilitate effective programs, and discuss non-profit best practices.
