Event details:

Boccia is a throwing sport. It is played at the Paralympic level by athletes with quadriplegia. It is open to person with physical and/or neurological disabilities. It it requires both skill and strategy.
The balls are leather and can be thrown, rolled or put into play with a ramp. Boccia can be played by Teams ( 3 against 3), Pairs (2 against 2) or 1 on 1.

USA Boccia wants to train coaches, officials and identify potential athletes who can compete on TEAM USA.
This workshop is scheduled over 2 days. You may come to one or both sessions.
Friday March 11- 2pm to 6pm
Saturday March 12 9 am -5 pm

Registration for Veterans and Staff is covered by a grant through the Dept. of Veterans Affairs.
Non-Veterans who have a Spinal Cord Injury and their Staff are covered by a grant from the Craig H Neilsen Foundation.
All other participants, community recreation programs, schools are also welcome. Your registration is $10 ( cash please ).
Registration includes the workshop, a resource guide, a Saturday lunch, and a Saturday tournament
