The Diana Golden Race Development Program provides up and coming ski and snowboard racers with a comprehensive calendar of race training and competition opportunities.

NASTAR: NASTAR, available at 115 resorts nation-wide provides a fun, competitive and easily accessible racing program that, through the development of a factoring system, allows racers of all ages and abilities a means to compare their race results to other competitors across the country regardless of when and where they race.

Funding Opportunities

STARS RACE CAMP, In Conjunction with NASTAR NATIONALS
(March 22-26, 2016 – Steamboat, CO)

Disabled Sports USA is offering free entry in the STARS Race Camp and sponsorship of up to $500 each to the top qualifying male and female youth athletes with disabilities to attend the NASTAR National Championship March 2016 in Steamboat, Colorado.

Feb 15th, 2016 is the last day to race and qualify for the Nature Valley NASTAR National Championships.

To qualify, athletes must:

  • Earn a top NASTAR ranking in their age and ability category by Presidents Day, February 15, 2016.
  • Have a disability or visual impairment and ski or ride independently
  • Not be a current member of the developmental or national US National Adaptive Ski Team
  • Be a US National, age 13-24
  • Complete full registration through NASTAR.com – to include contact information (i.e. email, phone, etc.)
  • Complete scholarship application (available soon)

  • Register through NASTAR.com and race on a NASTAR course near you during the 2015/16
