The Disabled Sports USA Adapt2Achieve program is committed to increasing the number of training and certified water ski instructors within its chapter network. DSUSA with support from the Bob Woodruff Foundation will assist members of the chapter network in attending a USA Water Ski adaptive instructor training and certification clinic in Sandy Hook, CT on August 19-20, 2014.
Chapters will receive reimbursements of up to $450 per person to support the attendance of up to two chapter representatives at the clinic.

Previous water ski experience is required for all attendees. For instructors who currently hold USA Water Ski Level 1 Certification, funds can be applied towards annual USA Water Ski dues.For all others, disbursement of funds is contingent upon successful completion of the USA Water Ski Level 1 Water Skiing and Adaptive Water Ski Instructor Certification.
Please note that attendees will be asked to provide a brief report (approx. 250 words) within two weeks of the workshop describing the measurable impact of attendance for their chapter. Grant funds will be distributed once participants show proof of successful completion of the USA Water Ski Level 1 Instructor Course and Level 1 Adaptive Certification. A copy of receipts to cover the amount of the grant award and an invoice are also required.
